Today I used tracing as a method of recognizing forms and memorizing them. 

I took a photo reference, traced it three times three different ways, threw them out, and then drew from the reference.

I liked the sketch better at this stage so I included it. It's a lot more "extrapolated" looking than a lot of my photo drawings. Felt also freer and slightly less "reproduced". 

Anyway, thought it was fun and wanted to share.
