I'm working on a stupid awesome game


I'm kind of excited because as a game artist, it's important to me to make my own games to understand them better.

With next-gen art, we often get taught to go in one direction--making bleeding-edge, high resolution art, and learning to make the best looking assets.

Learning art and realism and all the wonderful shit that goes with being a game artist is really important, but being able to understand games from a programming/scripting/gameplay perspective is also super important, at least to me.
