Made palette using Kirk's palette swiping technique and this image : http://cghub.com/images/view/234255/. Also added some blue color to a gray background, which was a nice contrast.
lol, I love how all your characters look so polite and friendly. Like even the little devil is like "hello sir!" . The character is great, great use of colors and values! The bg is awesome too! I've noticed you use that out of focus balls things a lot and I like them everytime, so in a way what I am saying is... I'm stealing your bg making idea. Does it make a crime if I admit I am going to do it before I do it. Stealing your out of focus idea! :D
Thank you man! One cool thing I tried out was putting down the soft brush and then a slightly smaller hard brush on top of that. It makes a nice poppy fluff, like a light or a fairy! Try it out! My ideas are for stealing.
