This cosmic dog drawing was supposed to be part of a cd cover I am working on, but I had to can the idea of it and start over with the concept. Still so, I was happy with the experiment, so here it is! Also I worked on a nimbus cloud pattern, which I have included a link below if you would like to check it out. All clouds are hand made, which sucked cause my wrist hurt a bunch but I am happy with the results, plus, free pattern!
Anyways, I'm hoping to post more and this is my first step this year.

ReplyDeleteI love the clouds, they are super sweet.
I think the only thing I would change is the outer glow on the dog--you can often get away with a lot less with styles (like smaller numbers) and still have it really work.
But seriously, this is cool.
Thanks for the tip! I also thought the outerglow was a bit meh, but that's actually why I gave up on this drawing for the cover. I kinda got stuck with the concept and it just simmered between the idea of a dog silhouette in the night sky or the night sky inside the dog silhouette. So I gave my brain a rest and decided to start with another idea.
